More Than a Walk - A Day for Everyone
From scenic trails to live music and family fun, Durham’s Hike for Hospice brings the whole community together.
Join us this Sunday, May 3rd in Durham for an afternoon that’s about more than just steps—it’s about connection, community, and supporting compassionate hospice care close to home.
The Durham Hike for Hospice runs from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Durham Conservation Area (323198 Durham Road East), welcoming individuals, families, and teams to take part in a meaningful and memorable day outdoors.
The trails are accessible and pet-friendly, making it easy for everyone to join in—whether you’re walking with family, friends, or your four-legged companion.
Beyond the trail, the event is packed with activities for all ages:
- Door prizes throughout the afternoon
- Face painting and a kids’ craft table
- A photo booth to capture the day
- Refreshments to enjoy along the way
Bring a lawn chair and take some time to relax under the covered area while enjoying live music by Larry Lesperance, adding to the welcoming, small-town atmosphere.
All activities take place under a covered area, and the event runs rain or shine—so be sure to dress for the weather.
