Sibylle Ruppert and Greg Walke didn’t walk alone in 2025—they brought their family with them.

Joined by sister-in-law Suzanne and their grandchildren, their team took part in the Paisley Hike for Saugeen Hospice as more than just a day out. For them, it was a walk rooted in something deeply personal and profoundly important.

They believe a hospice residence offers something that can’t be measured in dollars or distance—a place where time slows down, where space is created for families to be together, and where final goodbyes can be shared with care, dignity, and love.

While their family isn’t walking together as a team this year, Sibylle continues to give back in a meaningful way—stepping up as a volunteer while Greg is planning to hike the route.

Their support remains the same at heart: helping ensure that, one day, every family in our community has the time, space, and care they need when it matters most.
