Families in Southern Grey Bruce have long needed a hospice residence closer to home.

Now the dream of a local 6-bed hospice residence where comfort, compassion, and dignity live - is finally within reach. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, 60% of the needed funds have already been secured. But there is still more to be done.

Saugeen Hospice will be more than just a building. It will be a place of warmth, where families can gather, where hands are held through tears, and where no one faces life’s final journey alone. It will be a sanctuary – close to home – where peace replaces fear, and love surrounds every goodbye.

This 6 -bed hospice residence will not only complement the existing excellent palliative care services but will also fulfill the need for a hospice residence closer to home.
