Golfing for a Great Cause
Golf Fore Saugeen Hospice has become one of our community's signature fundraising events, bringing together golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and local businesses for a day of fun, friendship, and generosity in support of compassionate hospice care.
Held each June at the Walkerton Golf & Curling Club, this non-competitive tournament combines golf with great food, exciting contests, prizes, and a silent auction, creating an event that welcomes golfers of all skill levels. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, the tournament has become one of Saugeen Hospice's largest annual fundraisers, raising more than $75,000 in 2026 to help bring compassionate hospice care closer to home.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another outstanding tournament next year. Watch this page and our social media channels for registration details as they become available.

How It Works
Teams of four enjoy a relaxed, best-ball golf tournament with flexible tee times throughout the day. Rather than paying a traditional entry fee, teams are encouraged to raise pledges in support of Saugeen Hospice, making every golfer a fundraiser helping build compassionate hospice care for our region.
The day also features food, games, contests, prizes, a silent auction, and opportunities for the entire community to participate—even if you're not a golfer. Whether you're on the course, volunteering, sponsoring, or simply stopping by to support the event, every contribution helps move the Saugeen Hospice project forward.
How You Can Help
There are many ways to be part of Golf Fore Saugeen Hospice:
- Register a team when next year's event opens.
- Become an event sponsor or contest sponsor.
- Donate an item or service for the silent auction.
- Volunteer on tournament day.
- Help spread the word by inviting friends, family, coworkers, and local businesses to get involved.
Every swing, every donation, every volunteer hour, and every act of generosity brings us one step closer to ensuring individuals and families in our region have access to compassionate hospice care close to home.
